The PreK @ KVPAC
The PreK @ KVPAC is a developmentally appropriate play-based preschool, focusing on fine arts and academics. It is your child’s first step on their scholastic journey in life! We offer a unique learning experience for 3- to 5-year old children in a safe, nurturing, and creative environment where the Visual and Performing Arts form the basis and framework for all other academic and social learning.
Our PreK program uses the POCET assessment and curriculum tools. With these tools, and low class size numbers, the Instructors can guide each student individually. Additionally, because of our unique structure and our creative approach to education, particular attention can be paid to student's interests. We involve their interests in the classroom's academics, in order to have a more well-rounded learning experience that is personalized. The student as the creative, thoughtful, unique individual is something that we celebrate daily at our preschool, and we use this philosophy to become better educators, and present material to our preschoolers that truly inspires, and excites them.
We believe the ARTS provide the tools for children to become responsible, self-confident, and capable adults. Classes begin in early September and end in mid-May. We follow the Katy Independent School District holiday and early dismissal schedule.
