Outreach / Special Needs Art Blast
  Thank You Program Sponsor! Special Needs Art Blast with Easter Seals of Greater HoustonEaster Seals Greater Houston and KVPAC’s Outreach Department teamed up for a dynamic, art-based program to serve special needs children and their families. Special needs children are dropped off at the facility while their parents enjoys a day free. Once a month, KVPAC transforms into a magical place as artists, musicians, dancers, actors and performers host workshops stimulating the children’s imaginations.

Easter Seals Greater Houston’s program, Family Day Out, loves using the Katy Visual and Performing Arts Center as a location for our program. Without people like you, my program could not provide services for children with disabilities and their families. I am excited about 2011 and all the fun we have planned. We use the space from 9am until 3pm. We have Family Day Out staff, a nurse, children with disabilities, children without disabilities, and volunteers in attendance, approximately 35 people. The children are there from 10am until 2pm and volunteers are there from 9:15am until 2:15pm. KVPAC provides amazing activities, entertainment, and crafts for the kids. They do a wonderful job interacting with the kids through their performances and activities, the kids stay focused and amused. The Family Day Out program thrives at KVPAC! The Family Day Out staff, families, and kids thanks you for your kindness and generosity!
