I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change
This witty musical revue surveys the extremes of dating, relationships, marriage, children and everything in between. The show is cleverly staged and humorously explores the plight of single people, the highs and lows of marriage and what having children does to a married couple’s sex life.
September 23, 24, 25, 30 and October 1 & 2, 2011

Twelfth Night
Like many of William Shakespeare's comedies, this one centers on mistaken identity. The leading character, Viola, masquerades as her presumed dead brother, in order to secure work from a man, who is in love with a woman, who falls in love with Viola, because she thinks Viola is a man. Throw in a wicked storm, a shipwreck, practical jokes, sword fights, and menacing servants, and this play truly has something for everybody.
January 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 & 22, 2012

Love Letters
A.R. Gurney wrote this Pulitzer Prize for Drama nominated play. It centers on just two characters, Melissa Gardner and Andrew Makepeace Ladd III. Using the epistolary form sometimes found in novels, they sit side by side at tables and read the letters that discuss their hopes and ambitions, dreams and disappointments - that have passed between them throughout their separated lives. The letters, both sweet and bittersweet, span two lifetimes.
February 10, 11 & 12, 2012

Lovers’ Quarrels
Translated by Richard Wilbur, this is a complex 17th century French farce by Moliere, animated by deception and misunderstanding. At its core is a young woman named Ascagne who has spent her life wearing masculine disguises for the sake of inheritance. She cleverly marries her sister Lucille's suitor Valere by disguising herself during the midnight ceremony, and this sets off a chain of events that change the lives of all those around.

The girls are devastated at hearing the news and vow to raise enough money to save the school. Using whatever they can find at hand, the girls mount an original musical version of Moby Dick, featuring their headmistress in the coveted role of Captain Ahab.
December 9, 10 & 11, 2011

The Good Woman of Setzuan
Shen Te desires to be good, but the impossibility of living up to that standard in society is presently building up. She has a small amount of money, which she must use to help herself and those around her to a better life if she is to be good. Shen Te discovers very quickly, however, that in order to survive she must invent a tough cousin, a formidable businessman, to protect her interests.

With fantastical machines, inventive and colorful costumes, rhyming couplets and creative wordplay, the show will delight audiences both young and old.
November 18 & 19, 2011

The King and I
It's the 1860's and the West is closing in on Siam. Hoping to give his children the necessary knowledge to survive in this New World, the King of Siam hires a British governess, the strong-willed, widowed Anna. At first, Anna and the King struggle to find common ground between Siamese and British attitudes. Soon though, the two opposites fall in love, while beautifully underscored by Rodgers & Hammerstein in this classic stage musical.
April 13 & 14, 2012

Sleepy Hollow
When an inane schoolmaster, Ichabod Crane, comes to the farming community of Sleepy Hollow, as he seeks a well-to-do wife.  He's sure his dream will come true when he spots the striking Katrina Van Tassel.  Sadly the boisterous Brom Bones is Katrina's extremely jealous boyfriend.  Matters are complicated even more as the ghostly graveyard is haunted by a host of tense spirits, including the Headless Horseman, the most renowned phantom of all.
October 21 & 22, 2011

The Secret Garden

Everyone will love this charming, upbeat adaptation of a literary classic.  Mary Lennox ("Such A Difficult Child") is sent to live in England after her parents die in India.  Misselthwaite Manor turns out to be a gloomy fortress.  Her uncle is rarely home and his young son, Colin, never leaves his room, convinced he's an incurable invalid.  Mary discovers a strange walled garden that has been locked up for years.  With the gardener's apprentice, Dickon, a lad who can talk to the animals, Mary coaxes the garden back to life.  The garden seems to have a wonderful, magical effect on all who come into it, allowing Mary to help restore Colin to health and a reunion with his father.  The score is bright and delightful:  "Take a Flower To the Fair," You Can Do It," "Something's Happening With Master Colin."
