Elizabeth Farnsworth - de los Santos, PreK Director
Elizabeth de los Santos graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2008, with a Liberal Arts degree. Her concentrations of study were in Art History and Literature. After taking many art classes, she decided to start painting and loved it! Elizabeth is married to her husband Michael and they have a family of one dog and two cats. She is also a free-lance photographer and loves to take pictures. Elizabeth enjoys every moment of teaching the kids at KVPAC and feels privileged to teach them art everyday!
Lubaina Raja, Academic Curriculum Instructor
Lubaina was born and raised in Kenya, and has a degree in Small Business Management. With 3 years of teaching experience, she is committed to making sure children get a fun, positive, hands on learning experience. Lubaina is an active member in her community, and has created, initiated and is currently directing a Parent and Child Learning Center since 2007. Lubaina has been married for 17 years and is a mother of two children, one in middle school and the other in elementary. She enjoys reading, travelling, baking and decorating cakes and cheering her kids in sports!
Brittney Thorne, Theatre Specialty Instructor
Brittney grew up in San Antonio. While growing up, she was involved with Theatre from the time she was in second grade. She graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors Degree in Theatre in 2008. Brittney moved to Katy after getting married. This is her third year to teach Theatre at the Pre K at KVPAC. In addition to teaching Pre K, she directs children's productions with KVPAC's children's theatre program. She acts with Encore Players and has been seen in Working: The Musical, The Diary of Anne Frank and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. Brittney has also acted with Main Street Theater for Youth in A Little House Christmas and Stuart Little. She really enjoys teaching and especially loves introducing children to the arts.
Trudy Sarlls, Music Specialty Instructor
Trudy is happily married and has four amazing children ages 10 to19. She comes from a heritage rich with musical talent and has been performing since her childhood. Trudy has taught children’s music for more than 20 years. She has also served as music chairman on district and local levels at her church for the past 4 years. Through the years she has seen the positive impact music plays in the lives of children as they grow up. Trudy loves children and music, and it is her hope that the foundation in music she gives to the Pre-K students at KVPAC will remain with them for the rest of their lives.

Lindy Rajput, Academic Curriculum Instructor
Lindy Rajput grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and has lived in the Houston area for the past twenty years. Lindy graduated from the University of Houston in 2008 with a degree in psychology and focused on early childhood development. Lindy is also the area manager for Moxie Moms, which helps coordinate various activities all over the city for moms and children. In addition for working part-time with Moxie Moms, she helps organize a playgroup in the Katy area. She enjoys thinking of creative and fun ways to educate and entertain. Lindy is married and the mother of two very active boys who are 5 and 2.5. She is pleased to have the opportunity to work with KVPAC.
Swati Gandhi, Academic Curriculum Instructor
Swati Gandhi has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. This is her second year of teaching at KVPAC. She also teaches languages to middle and high school students. Swati has taught at the Kumon Learning Center and has also worked as a substitute teacher. She has been married for 15 years and has two daughters. Swati enjoys being a teacher and believes that a loving and caring atmosphere can help children learn more effectively.
Renesia Nash, Academic Curriculum Instructor
Renesia Nash graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Broadcasting. She has experience in television, radio, and promotional news writing. Her teaching experience stems from serving as Director of Children's Ministry for her church while living in Oklahoma. Since relocating to Katy, Texas in 2010, she worked in several volunteer capacties for Katy ISD and also as a substitute teacher. She is happily married and the mother of three children. Renesia truly enjoys working with children and is passionate about helping all children succeed.
