Teresa A. Wilson
Teresa received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Sam Houston State University. She is certified to teach all -levels, Pre-K thru 12th grade. Teresa has a concentration in choral conducting with an emphasis in piano and voice. She has many years experience teaching music, choir, speech, and drama in both the public and private school setting. Teresa is available to teach private lessons in piano or voice at KVPAC on Wednesday afternoons.
Brooke Carico
Brooke started performing at age 5 in a local Tennessee production of South Pacific, and began piano lessons around the same time. She began teaching piano at the early age of 16, teaching lessons in the summers to beginners. She continued acting, singing, playing piano and small amounts of teaching until after college when “real life” required stepping out of the stage spotlight to teach full time. Brooke married her best friend 13 years ago & they have 4 children, all of whom they homeschool. Brooke teaches voice & piano, and is also an artist working with a variety of medias that range from canvas painting to jewelry made from recycled vinyl records.
India Aquino
India Aquino has been playing the piano since age 13. She received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Music Performance from Stephen F. Austin State University, class of 2008. With extensive accompanying and ensemble experience, she specializes in many styles including popular and classical genres. She teaches piano at all ages and skill levels starting as young as age 5. India also plays and teaches the ukulele, and starts ukulele lessons at age 7.
Nathan Carico
Nathan Carico has been playing the guitar since he was 12 and took piano lessons for 4 years prior to picking up the guitar. He was self taught on the guitar, played in multiple bands through high school, and sang in several choirs including a college show choir. While working through a graduate degree in Biology at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, he played electric guitar in the UTC jazz band and several side bands. Since graduating from college he has led the musical side of worship in several churches and contexts and has taught guitar lessons at multiple skill levels. Nathan is a local pastor so he has a relatively flexible schedule for teaching at KVPAC.
