Erin Fry, Visual Arts Director

A native of Houston, Erin grew up in the Sugar Land area. While attending University of Houston, she taught with Arts a la Carte; a small arts school in the Greenspoint area. In 2004, Erin transferred over to The River Performing and Visual Arts Center teaching special needs children, high risk children, and their families.  Her personal artistic focus is on textile and fabric arts, recycled arts, painting, photography and metalsmithing. In her spare time, Erin is still heavily involved in teaching and exposing art to both her own child and others.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Taha Raja

Taha Raja is a serious amateur photographer that has worked in the field since the good old film days.  Taha loves to work with Landscape, Outdoor, Travel and Stock photography.  Recently, Taha has worked extensively with local photography clubs learning and teaching others to enjoy the wide world of digital photography.  He has worked with local architects and commercial companies to help them with their work as well.  Taha uses the Canon DSLR platform for his digital photography.
The world of digital photography has truly opened this medium to many people.  The intersection of high tech and art is where photography truly shines.  Taha has an in depth interest in technology and with this combined interest, he has a passion for digital photography.  His goal is to share this passion with his students and help them experience the vast world of photography.
Taha has taught students of all ages especially adults. He was a certified trainer for Microsoft Courses and Symantec Security classes.   He has also taught photography at local community events.   Taha is currently a small business owner.  He has a BS in Engineering from Texas A&M University.
