Visual Arts

Programs are designed for ages 3 to adult to develop talents, stimulate creativity and encourage self-confidence. KVPAC provides:

  • After-school classes during the academic school year
  • Summer and Spring Break camps
  • Special “field trip” workshops at KVPAC or your site
  • Classes and workshops for Homeschool families
  • Girl Scout activity badge or Boy Scout merit badge workshops
  • Private or semi-private instruction

After-school curriculum is either project- or process-based.

  • Project-based instruction teaches students the skills to complete a specific project.

Examples of project-based classes are World of Art, Master Clay or Paint to Mozart.

  • Process-based classes are designed to give students a comprehensive skill set, apply art theory and design principles.

Examples of process-based classes are Art Academy, Art Smart, Ready-Set-Draw, Art Smart, or Drawing to the Max.
